What is Canine Assisted Wellness (CAW)?

CAW is a new way of providing Animal Assisted Therapy (AAT) at the workplace, and beyond.

Commonly known as Pet Therapy, AAT is a guided interaction between a person and a trained animal. AAT is most prevalent in the healthcare industry and is used for the improvement of patients' social, cognitive, physical, mental, emotional functioning and skills.

There are multiple studies that show the simple act of petting a dog have lasting affects on the human psyche, such as improving people’s psychological well-being and self-esteem.
